As the Global Manager Contract Loading – Quality Control, you will lead and optimise the quality control and contract loading function across all WebBeds regions, ensuring the accurate and timely conversion of supplier contract data into global systems. Operating at the centre of Contracting Operations, you will embed robust quality methodologies, drive operational excellence and build a culture of high performance across regional teams.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to improve accuracy, reduce risk and enhance reliability across FIT and Channel Manager workflows. As deputy to the Director of Contract Loading, you will represent the function, lead cross-functional initiatives, resolve complex issues and support continuous improvement, while delivering key projects to defined scope, quality and timelines.

In this role you will:

Key responsibilities

  • Quality standards management: drive and maintain high accuracy standards across all quality control and error prevention activities.
  • Performance analysis: monitor, analyse and improve quality performance, identifying risk areas and implementing corrective actions.
  • Error prevention: implement data-driven strategies to reduce repeat issues and minimise operational loss.
  • Operational leadership: partner with Contracting Operations leadership to deliver targets, meet SLAs and uphold operational standards.
  • Workload prioritisation: allocate and prioritise workloads across the function to ensure efficiency and KPI adherence.
  • Team leadership: lead, coach and develop Team Leaders, Senior Associates and Associates to achieve operational excellence.
  • Performance management: set and refine performance standards, conduct reviews and provide actionable feedback.
  • Talent development: build and strengthen a high performing leadership pipeline across the global team.
  • Continuous improvement: champion innovation and encourage teams to propose ideas and lead change initiatives.
  • Process optimisation: enhance and maintain department policies and procedures to improve business outcomes.
  • Reporting and insights: deliver accurate and timely reports to support leadership decision making.
  • Stakeholder management: build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and resolve issues quickly and collaboratively.
  • Project delivery: lead cross-functional initiatives and special projects to agreed scope and timelines.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership or departmental management role within a travel or bedbank environment.
  • Proven ability to mentor, inspire and lead teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Results-driven mindset with a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to influence, communicate and collaborate effectively at all organisational levels.
  • Strong decision-making, delegation and coaching skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
