As a Technical Account Manager, you will work closely with clients, commercial teams, and internal technical stakeholders to drive end-to-end API integrations, optimise connectivity, and support strategic technology partnerships across the region. This involves managing new client implementations, enhancing existing integrations, troubleshooting technical challenges, and ensuring seamless operational delivery that supports long-term business growth.
This role requires a technically minded, commercially astute, and relationship-driven individual with strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project execution skills. Working directly with senior technology and product leaders externally, and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Technology, Pricing, and Optimization teams internally, you will play a critical role in delivering successful partnerships, driving client satisfaction, and achieving regional commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities
API integration support: Support new API integrations by partnering with the APAC Sales team to review client technology landscapes, provide technical consultation, and recommend best-practice integration solutions.
Technical connectivity driving: Drive technical connectivity across partners by engaging with clients, technology partners, and third-party tech houses to ensure seamless and fully functional integrations with WebBeds’ platforms.
Pre-sales technical engagement: Lead pre-sales technical engagements by working alongside commercial teams to understand client requirements and propose scalable technical solutions that support business objectives.
Workshop and session facilitation: Facilitate technical workshops and implementation sessions by leading onsite or virtual sessions with clients’ technical and product teams throughout the integration lifecycle.
Technical relationship management: Build and manage strategic technical relationships by acting as the primary technical point of contact for clients, partners, and key stakeholders across the APAC region.
Quality assurance execution: Perform end-to-end quality assurance by validating integrations, testing connectivity, and ensuring operational readiness prior to client launch.
Issue analysis and resolution: Analyse and resolve complex technical issues by troubleshooting integration challenges, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
Post-launch integration optimization: Optimise post-launch integrations by monitoring performance, identifying enhancement opportunities, and delivering both technical and commercial improvements.
Commercial strategy partnership: Partner with Sales and internal teams to implement commercial strategies that maximise client performance, adoption, and long-term partnership value.
Continuous improvement driving: Drive continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to integration workflows, launch processes, API documentation, and overall client experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in application support, software development, technical consulting, or business analysis. Experience within e-commerce, travel, or technology-driven industries would be mandated.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong technical proficiency in APIs, SQL, JSON, SOAP, REST, and related integration technologies, with hands-on coding and software development experience.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver practical, high-quality solutions to business and technical challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluent English required. Mandarin or additional language capabilities would be advantageous.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience, including engagement with senior technical, product, and executive-level counterparts.
Solid understanding of web-based and mobile product development, system integrations, and high-volume transactional platform architectures.
Analytical, commercially aware, and solutions-driven, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
