Risk and Safety Advisor

As a Risk and Safety Advisor, you will be an open-minded professional who will support our Health & Safety programme by ensuring accommodation suppliers meet the company’s safety standards and industry best practices.

In this role you will:

Key responsibilities

• Risk assessment and compliance: Conduct thorough hotel risk assessments in line with recognized industry standards and WebBeds’ safety requirements to ensure a secure partner network.

• Supplier collaboration and resolution: Identify nonconformities and work collaboratively with hotel partners via email and phone to ensure the timely resolution of safety issues.

• Mailbox and communication management: Manage the shared mailbox daily, efficiently prioritizing and organizing incoming communications to maintain swift response times.

• Internal partnership and record keeping: Collaborate closely with the Contracting and Purchasing teams regarding audit findings, while ensuring all compliance documentation is accurately recorded and maintained according to company policy.

• 1–3 years of professional experience in a similar role

• University degree (with a preference for Hospitality and Tourism) or equivalent professional qualification

• Background or in-depth knowledge of health and safety practices specific to the travel industry (e.g., tour operators, hotel operations)

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; fluency in additional languages is a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook) and familiarity with email ticketing systems

• Proven experience managing and consolidating administrative tasks from multiple sources

• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team environment

• Comfortable navigating and utilizing multiple systems simultaneously

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
