As a Risk and Safety Advisor, you will be an open-minded professional who will support our Health & Safety programme by ensuring accommodation suppliers meet the company’s safety standards and industry best practices.
Key responsibilities
Risk assessment and compliance: Conduct thorough hotel risk assessments in line with recognized industry standards and WebBeds’ safety requirements to ensure a secure partner network.
Supplier collaboration and resolution: Identify nonconformities and work collaboratively with hotel partners via email and phone to ensure the timely resolution of safety issues.
Mailbox and communication management: Manage the shared mailbox daily, efficiently prioritizing and organizing incoming communications to maintain swift response times.
Internal partnership and record keeping: Collaborate closely with the Contracting and Purchasing teams regarding audit findings, while ensuring all compliance documentation is accurately recorded and maintained according to company policy.
1–3 years of professional experience in a similar role
University degree (with a preference for Hospitality and Tourism) or equivalent professional qualification
Background or in-depth knowledge of health and safety practices specific to the travel industry (e.g., tour operators, hotel operations)
Fluency in English, both written and spoken; fluency in additional languages is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook) and familiarity with email ticketing systems
Proven experience managing and consolidating administrative tasks from multiple sources
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team environment
Comfortable navigating and utilizing multiple systems simultaneously
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
