As a Market Manager, you will work closely with our hotel suppliers, Sales, Operations, and internal stakeholders to build, manage, and grow strategic supplier partnerships across Pattaya, Thailand. This involves acquiring new hotel partnerships, negotiating contract renewals, optimising rates, allotments, and availability, and driving supplier performance across thousands of travel agents and international distribution channels via our technology platform.
This role requires a commercially driven, relationship-focused, and analytical individual with strong negotiation skills, account management expertise, and market analysis capabilities. You’ll manage supplier performance, identify growth opportunities, drive direct contracting initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally to maximise supplier value, market share, and commercial performance.
In this role you will:
Key responsibilities
- Supplier relationship management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships by developing trusted, long-term partnerships with hotel partners and ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
- Contract and renewal negotiation: Negotiate contracts and renewals to secure competitive rates, optimal allotments, and favourable terms, ensuring strong availability and short release periods across assigned territories.
- Account management and optimization: Manage supplier accounts by optimising rate competitiveness, allotments, preferred agreements, and supporting partners on payment, rate, and operational queries.
- Commercial target driving: Set and drive commercial targets with suppliers based on account performance, identifying opportunities to maximise revenue and market share.
- Allotment utilization monitoring: Monitor and optimise allotment utilisation by analysing reports, reviewing availability, and making adjustments to improve overall supplier performance.
- Direct contracting expansion: Drive direct contracting opportunities by converting third-party supply into direct business and onboarding new suppliers across assigned territories.
- Market intelligence leverage: Leverage market intelligence and data insights from internal systems, sales feedback, and third-party sources to identify trends and implement action plans.
- Technology adoption promotion: Promote supplier adoption of WebBeds’ technology platforms including extranet and direct connectivity to ensure rates and inventory remain accurate and updated year-round.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Data Entry teams to resolve supplier, booking, contract, and operational issues efficiently.
- Market performance analysis: Analyse market performance and drive business growth by identifying new commercial opportunities, attending industry events, and implementing strategies to increase market share.

- Minimum 2–5 years of contracting, account management, or commercial experience within the hotel, travel, OTA, bedbank, wholesaler, or tourism industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Native Thai and excellent English skills (verbal and written).
- Proven experience in hotel contracting, supplier negotiations, account management, and building long-term commercial relationships with hoteliers and key industry partners.
- Strong understanding of hotel distribution, contracting models, including static and dynamic rate models, and general market trends within the travel industry.
- Commercially driven with strong negotiation, influencing, and business development skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver measurable results.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, for reporting, analysis, and performance tracking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with professional proficiency in English required. Additional local language capabilities would be advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain successful supplier relationships.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly within assigned territories to meet suppliers, attend industry events, and support business development initiatives.
