What you will do on your journey with WebBeds.
As a Contracts Manager, you will lead contracting for key destinations across the Mexico Pacific Coast. You will provide contracting and marketing services, find new providers for WebBeds and manage relationships with our existing suppliers.
You will work closely with the Regional Director, Contracting to set and carry out the contracting strategy for your territory. Your work will drive revenue, grow production and build lasting partnerships with hoteliers. This role is based in the Puerto Vallarta area.
In this role you will:
Key responsibilities
- Supplier sourcing and account management: Provide contracting and marketing services by finding new providers for WebBeds, managing existing suppliers and helping to set up supplier contracts.
- Revenue generation: Meet contracting targets and generate business from direct contracts. Explore new business opportunities in the assigned territory in line with company guidelines, standards and strategies.
- Budget performance: Work closely with the Regional Director, Contracting to make sure revenue from the territory meets or exceeds the planned budget.
- Contracting strategy: Propose and implement the contracting strategy for the territory with management, in line with overall company goals.
- Hotel contracting: Close new hotel contracts in the area, make sure targets for existing and new contracts are met, and maintain and grow production.
- Territory visits and issue resolution: Travel often across the territory, including extended business trips when needed. Resolve contracting-related issues (including sales, pricing, operations, IT and credit control) with internal departments such as customer service, reservations and finance, and with suppliers.
- Market analysis: Analyse market trends and identify new sources of revenue.
- Representation: Represent the territory at internal meetings and the company at trade shows as needed.
- Reporting: Report to senior management as needed.
- Contract loading and accuracy: Load signed contracts into the company system and check that they are correct in the database.
- Professional communication: Communicate professionally with internal and external contacts, in line with company guidelines.

- Contracting experience in the tourism industry, with established relationships and experience in the Mexico Pacific Coast market.
- Solid experience negotiating agreements and closing terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Previous experience with CRM tools is desirable.
- Knowledge of business strategy is desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
- Ability to build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with hoteliers, with solid stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural versatility and empathy.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
