As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial growth and strengthening WebBeds’ presence within your designated region. Working closely with internal stakeholders, strategic partners, and customers, you will be responsible for growing revenue from both new and existing accounts, identifying market opportunities, and building long-term partnerships that support sustainable business expansion. You will proactively manage your portfolio, monitor market trends, and develop strategic initiatives that enhance competitiveness and maximize commercial performance.

This role requires a commercially driven, relationship-focused, and analytical individual with strong sales acumen, market intelligence, and stakeholder management capabilities. You will accurately forecast business and market needs, formulate and execute effective sales strategies, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and revenue generation. Through delivering exceptional customer engagement and consistently achieving commercial targets, you will play a key role in driving business growth and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction for WebBeds.

In this role you will:

Key responsibilities

  • Regional customer portfolio management: Manage customer portfolios across the assigned region, overseeing both prospective and existing accounts to drive commercial growth, strengthen partnerships, and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Strategic partnership development: Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with new and existing Wholesalers, Travel Agents, Corporate Travel Partners, Retailers, and emerging distribution channels to expand market presence and long-term business opportunities.
  • Sales strategy execution: Formulate and execute sales strategies that drive sales volume growth, improve commercial efficiency, and deliver sustainable revenue performance in line with regional business objectives.
  • API business development: Drive API business development by identifying integration opportunities, expanding connectivity solutions, and optimizing API partnerships with customers across the sales territory.
  • Digital product promotion and training: Promote and sell digital products and services through the company’s online platforms, while providing product demonstrations, onboarding, and training to clients on the POS booking system.
  • New business acquisition: Identify and acquire new business opportunities by proactively sourcing, prospecting, and executing action plans to onboard new clients and expand the customer base.
  • Cross-functional technical collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with XML, BI, and Operations teams to support client integrations, optimize product performance, resolve operational issues, and deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Financial account compliance: Partner with Finance teams on client account setup, payment collection, credit arrangements, and account management to ensure commercial compliance and healthy business operations.
  • Performance monitoring and reporting: Monitor sales performance and market intelligence by tracking progress against targets, maintaining project pipelines, and preparing regular sales, forecasting, and market insight reports for WebBeds.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the travel and/or hospitality industry, with a proven track record in business development, account management, and revenue growth.
  • Strong industry and technical knowledge, including product distribution, connectivity solutions, and working knowledge of XML integrations and online travel technology platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with internal stakeholders, partners, and clients at all levels.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional regional language capabilities would be an advantage.
  • Commercially driven and goal-oriented, with a strong ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effectively, and consistently deliver against sales targets.
  • Dynamic, outgoing, and customer-focused, with exceptional relationship-building, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and independent, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and drive results with minimal supervision.
  • Innovative, creative, and solutions-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming business challenges for WebBeds.
