Chris Chandler.

Chris is a New Zealand Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years of experience across the travel sector, having worked in finance leadership roles spanning airports, ground handling, airlines, travel agencies, and bedbanks. He began his career with EY before moving into the travel industry, where he developed a deep understanding of the financial, operational, and regulatory dynamics that shape complex, customer‑facing businesses.

Over the course of his career, Chris has held several senior finance positions, including serving as CFO of a regional airports group for Infratil and later relocating to the Middle East with Fraport. Before joining WebBeds, he was Vice President – Finance within the Emirates Group, overseeing financial performance across multiple business units and contributing to major commercial and operational initiatives.

Since joining WebBeds, Chris has served as Regional CFO for the Middle East & Africa and the Americas, bringing financial discipline, commercial insight, and a strong partnership mindset to two of the company’s most diverse regions. He later stepped into a Group role to lead Finance Digitalisation across the Webjet Limited portfolio, driving the adoption of modern tools, automation, and data‑driven processes that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and decision‑making.

Now based in Dubai as Chief Financial Officer, Chris focuses on how the combination of people, technology, and financial expertise can unlock greater value across the organisation. He leads efforts to strengthen governance, modernise financial systems, and ensure WebBeds’ financial strategy supports sustainable growth. His approach centres on delivering clearer insights, more efficient processes, and stronger financial foundations that ultimately improve outcomes for partners, customers, and internal teams.
