As a Key Accounts Manager - Central Europe, you will play a critical role in expanding WebBeds’ presence and revenue in Netherlands and Germany, across Central Europe. In this dynamic position, you will manage both new business development and the nurturing of key accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with large-scale travel partners. With a strong focus on sales strategy, customer relationships, and market analysis, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to drive growth and strengthen market positioning within the region.

In this role you will:

Your primary focus will be on securing new business opportunities from large travel partners such as tour operators, travel agents, and online agencies. You will also nurture and develop strong relationships with existing key accounts to ensure long-term success. With daily analysis, field sales trips, and attendance at trade shows, you will be representing WebBeds in the marketplace, ensuring our services remain top of mind for our partners.

Key Responsibilities.
  • Close monitoring and daily interaction with key accounts clients.
  • Daily analysis using BI.
  • Create sales opportunities through a daily analysis of client search behavior and pattern.
  • Create and manage strong Sales Pipeline.
  • Create and implement a monthly plan in collaboration with the contracting team.
  • Achieve company and personal targets.
  • Training clients on our online hotel/transfers/services platform. Either via POS or via XML.
  • Develop contacts within Key Accounts assigned to you.
  • Represent the company at key trade shows as required.
  • Travelling to meet new/existing clients as required.
  • Keep the CRM system updated and accurate.
  • Oversee bidding process from start to finish for big opportunities.
  • Liaise with Marketing team, agree on activity through the year.
  • Know the planning cycles for all your markets, providing the right products and prices within client deadlines.
  • Become familiar and keep up to date with each destination we offer, what are the new products available, our key hotels, our strengths and challenges in each market.
  • Become familiar and keep up to date with the assigned markets, who are the key players within the various segments, who are our competitors, what is new in terms of trade shows, marketing possibilities, be aware of changes both at a micro and macro level that will affect our business.
  • Work closely with internal teams including analytics, customer service, finance, and supply to articulate the needs of the partner base and foster a collaborative approach across the broader WebBeds business.
  • Act as brand ambassador for Webbeds and drive the importance of us as a key hotel and services supplier by increasing market share relative to competitor.

  • Outstanding analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, able to use data to identify underlying trends and make informed commercial decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize workload managing multiple projects with new and existing partners.
  • Solution-based approach to sales with a solid understanding of distribution channels.
  • Strong commercial instinct and entrepreneurial drive combined with the ability to think creatively and take initiative to execute effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of the competitive set.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and comfort working with partner contacts at every level.
  • Ability to make decisions and to work on own initiative and in a team.
  • University degree or equivalent related professional experience.
  • Local language for market assigned required.
  • Good level of verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably German and Dutch.
  • Strong contacts with tour operators, travel agents, consortia etc.
  • Experienced manager with proven record in sales within travel industry preferably in a similar role.
  • A solid working knowledge of Microsoft applications and the internet.
