We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Test Manager to lead the end-to-end testing strategy for our Workday implementation project. This role is instrumental in ensuring that our Workday functions operate smoothly and efficiently, providing an exceptional experience for employees and stakeholders across all regions.

As a Workday Test Manager, you will lead the end-to-end testing strategy for our Workday implementation. Reporting to the Programme Director, you will define the test strategy, implement tools and metrics, and drive quality assurance across all Workday modules. Your role will ensure that all testing activities—from planning and execution to issue resolution and reporting—are aligned with programme goals and HR operational needs.
Key Responsibilities.
- Define and own the Workday test strategy, covering functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Select and implement appropriate test tools and frameworks to support automation and reporting.
- Establish and track test metrics to monitor progress, quality, and readiness.
- Lead the triage and resolution of test issues, ensuring timely closure and stakeholder visibility.
- Collaborate with HR operations and functional leads to ensure test coverage reflects real-world use cases and compliance needs.
- Coordinate test planning and execution across multiple workstreams and vendors.
- Produce regular test status reports for programme leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
- Support cutover and go-live readiness from a testing perspective.

- 7+ years of experience in test management, with at least 3 years on large-scale HRIS or Workday programmes.
- Strong understanding of HR operations and processes to ensure test relevance and completeness.
- Proven ability to define test strategies and manage test cycles in complex, global environments.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail) and automation frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with compliance, data privacy, and audit requirements in HR systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis and operational reporting, with familiarity in HRIS or service management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment while managing multiple priorities.
