We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supplier Payments Optimization Expert to oversee supplier payment processes, dispute resolution, and financial reconciliations. In this role, you will ensure that all suppliers are paid accurately and on time, handle credit card and WEX reconciliations, and work closely with internal teams to optimize financial workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, with experience in finance, accounting, or supplier payments within a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:

Be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments, reconciling financial accounts, and collaborating with commercial teams to improve financial processes. You will also assist in maintaining internal policies and compliance, supporting the Supplier Payments Optimization Team Leader in daily operations and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities.

• Ensure all supplier payments are processed accurately and on time in accordance with contractual terms.
• Perform credit card and WEX reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies.
• Manage supplier payment queries, ensuring prompt resolution in line with business SLAs.
• Reconcile supplier accounts, intercompany accounts, and financial entries to maintain an accurate ledger.
• Ensure supplier bank details are updated correctly and in a timely manner.
• Ensure all financial reporting is up to date and aligned with month-end deadlines.
• Liaise with internal finance teams to resolve payment-related issues.
• Support the Supplier Payments Optimization Team Leader in daily tasks and ad-hoc projects.
