As a Senior PHP Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that meet WebBeds’ technical standards and business requirements. Your role will involve leading architectural decisions, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and mentoring junior developers. By staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, you will contribute to the evolution of our technology stack and ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities.

• Lead technical discussions within the self-managed delivery team, contributing insights during user story definition, planning sessions, and stakeholder interactions through collaboration, communication, and leading by example.
• Design and develop complex software solutions that adhere to WebBeds' technical standards and meet business requirements, demonstrating mastery of software development principles and fostering innovation, and embracing accountability, challenges, and continuous development.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members, nurturing their progress and enriching the team's overall skills, while empowering, guiding, and acknowledging their efforts.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
• Proven software development experience in PHP (3+ years of working experience).
• Experience with Laravel PHP Framework is a plus.
• Good programming skills (design patterns, algorithms).
• Proficient level at key OOP concepts in PHP.
• Proficient level at clean coding concepts, with special focus on SOLID.
• Good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL): writing complex queries, optimizing query execution, schema definition.
• Good knowledge of web services is a plus (REST, SOAP).
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
