As Regional Director you will hold a pivotal leadership role responsible for the commercial strategy, product portfolio, and profitability across key markets within your region. Based remotely on the West Coast, USA, you will drive sourcing excellence, optimize supplier partnerships, and lead a high-performing team to deliver revenue growth and product innovation across your designated territory. You will play a key role in defining and executing sourcing initiatives, negotiating top-tier hotel contracts, and ensuring your region is aligned with broader commercial goals. This role demands sharp commercial acumen, collaborative leadership, and a passion for building strong, strategic relationships with hoteliers and internal stakeholders alike.
In this role you will:
Lead the charge in shaping our sourcing footprint within the Northeast territory. Your day-to-day will include coaching your team to hit key revenue targets, cultivating lasting hotel partnerships, and ensuring product quality and competitiveness. You’ll own the regional sourcing strategy and collaborate closely with senior leadership to align business objectives across departments.
Key Responsibilities.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a team of Contract Managers to meet performance and strategic targets.
- Set and communicate KPIs that align with regional and company-wide goals.
- Monitor team performance, conduct appraisals, and drive a culture of accountability and growth.
- Deliver regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and support professional development.
- Lead negotiations with key hotel partners to secure competitive rates, terms, and value-added services.
- Identify and secure “must-have” hotels to enhance product competitiveness in assigned territories.
- Maintain strategic relationships with senior representatives of hotel chains and key suppliers.
- Stay current on regional procurement dynamics, technology platforms, and distribution tools (e.g., channel managers, XML).
- Ensure product continuity through timely contract renewals and proactive contracting trips.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to inform yield strategies and pricing decisions.
- Address service or product-level issues in collaboration with operations and support teams.
- Represent WebBeds at trade shows, workshops, and industry events to strengthen our brand and sourcing pipeline.
- Maintain regular updates with SVP Sourcing and report on regional performance, opportunities, and risks.
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders, including Key Accounts, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Establish internal best practices for communication and knowledge sharing around sourcing and hotel product.

- Extensive experience in hotel contracting, rate negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Proven team leadership experience, ideally across multi-market sourcing operations.
- Strong commercial mindset and analytical capabilities to drive strategic business decisions.
- Deep understanding of connectivity platforms such as extranets, channel managers, and XML integration.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
