As a Product Manager for the Benelux region at WebBeds, you will be pivotal in enhancing hotel partnerships and optimizing the performance of a targeted portfolio of hotels. Working closely with Contracts Managers, you will drive strategies to secure the best rates and maximize availability, directly impacting our competitiveness in the Benelux market. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a talent for relationship management, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of market trends.

In this role you will:

As Product Manager for the Benelux region, you will be at the heart of WebBeds’ efforts to ensure our hotel partners’ success. Your responsibilities will include managing key hotel relationships, securing last-minute availability, coordinating promotions, and tracking production to recommend action plans. You’ll also provide training for hotel partners on our platform, conduct competitive pricing analyses, and assist with contract loading. Additionally, you may manage a small portfolio of suppliers directly, ensuring we maintain strong relationships and competitive offerings.

Key Responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain direct relationships with hotel partners, addressing their queries and ensuring smooth communication.
  • Manage hotel allocations, monitor availability, and implement actions to maintain an optimal product offering.
  • Collaborate with Contracts Managers on special promotions and offers, and negotiate stop-sale policies as needed.
  • Analyze production metrics and determine necessary follow-up actions with Contracts Managers and Line Managers.
  • Train hotel partners on WebBeds’ extranet tools to optimize their usage and ensure efficient management of their listings.
  • Conduct competitive pricing reviews to guarantee the best rates and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to map and launch BAR contracts.
  • Analyze and implement actions to convert third-party bookings to direct contracts in line with departmental guidelines.
  • Assist Contracts Managers during business trips by providing essential support and managing urgent tasks.
  • Handle additional tasks as directed, including potentially managing a small supplier portfolio.
  • Effective support across departments, including Accounts, Reservations, and Customer Care.
  • Timely and accurate updates of hotel availability and new opportunities for Contracts Managers.
  • Assistance with contract loading and last-minute offer management on the Fresh Desk platform.

  • Advanced proficiency in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
  • Commercial awareness of the travel industry and a good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with comfort using the phone for direct supplier interactions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a “can do” attitude with enthusiasm.
  • Team player with an ability to work independently when needed.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple systems.
  • Proficiency in any additional languages.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the travel industry.
