As an Optimization Manager for Chains at WebBeds, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing our chain hotel offerings across the Americas. Your work will focus on maximizing chain hotel inventory, ensuring rate competitiveness, and optimizing availability to drive booking growth. Working closely with our Regional Manager for Optimization, you’ll bring a blend of operational savvy and commercial insight to build strong partnerships with hotel chains, driving impactful results.

In this role you will:

As an Optimization Manager Chains, you’ll oversee WebBeds’ chain hotels, focusing on quality, availability, and competitive pricing. Your role will involve working with connectivity tools, performing quality audits, negotiating with chains and individual hotels, and ensuring properties meet WebBeds’ sales standards. You’ll conduct regular performance reviews and interpret market trends to capitalize on growth opportunities, representing WebBeds professionally in industry meetings and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities.
  • Manage and optimize chain hotel performance, ensuring WebBeds’ chain inventory meets quality and pricing standards.
  • Oversee chain hotel ARI (availability, rates, inventory) through various connectivity tools.
  • Conduct daily reviews of booking and performance reports to optimize chain hotel production.
  • Regularly audit property setups for accuracy in content, mapping, rate plans, and competitive pricing.
  • Maintain proactive communication with chain partners and negotiate within existing agreements to improve commercial terms.
  • Ensure all managed properties are live, bookable, and aligned with WebBeds’ rate and promotion competitiveness guidelines.
  • Identify and capitalize on market trends by analyzing booking reports and sales data.
  • Represent WebBeds at trade shows and meetings with the ability to present strategies, results, and insights effectively.

  • Qualifications and Knowledge: Proven expertise in yield management, competitive pricing, and optimizing contract terms in the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Industry Experience: Familiarity with electronic distribution channels and inventory management, ideally with experience in B2B or B2C/OTAs.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish (Spanish essential for LATAM partnerships).
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Strong relationship management abilities, with effective negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to interpret market trends and apply strategic thinking to enhance competitiveness.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail, ensuring quality control across properties.
