IT PMO Change Manager
25 June, 2025
In this role you will:
We’re looking for a Change Manager to join our IT Project Management Office. This role is focused on guiding people through change—whether it’s new systems, processes, or ways of working—ensuring smooth adoption and minimizing disruption. You’ll work alongside Project Managers but step away from the day-to-day task management to focus on the bigger picture: people, process change, and communication.
You’ll contribute to value-driven change by applying structured change management techniques, promoting user-centric design, and supporting the implementation of modern, automated processes. This role complements our PMO function by focusing on the people side of change—helping individuals and teams adapt and thrive through engagement, communication, and process enablement.
Key Responsibilities.
- Lead change management activities across IT initiatives with a strong focus on people impact and adoption.
- Serve as the IT Change Enablement and Delivery Lead for key strategic company projects.
- Collaborate with PMs to support successful delivery while ensuring process and people changes are clearly communicated, understood, and embedded.
- Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies tailored to each project’s stakeholders and change journey.
- Assess change readiness, identify resistance, and work with business leads to support smoother transitions.
- Define and document process changes, with a focus on simplification, user experience design, and regulatory or compliance alignment, working closely with functional teams and business units.
- Monitor and measure change effectiveness and adoption, reporting feedback and recommending adjustments.
- Act as a central point of communication for change, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned across impacted teams.
- Support stakeholders through transition periods by providing guidance, structure, and practical tools to navigate change.
- Promote a culture of innovation, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement across the IT function.
The skills we would love to see in your suitcase.
- Bachelor's degree or higher education required.
- Experience working in large-scale transformation programs, involving technology adoption and cross-functional delivery.
- Experience in change management or similar roles in a tech-driven organization.
- A strong communicator with the ability to simplify and explain change across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Understanding of IT delivery environments—Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid—and how to enable change effectively within them.
- Comfortable working across multiple teams, engaging both technical and non-technical global stakeholders.
- Exposure to or understanding of areas such as product development, project and portfolio management, IT service management, innovation processes, data driven practices, compliance, and innovation frameworks.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with day-to-day support across multiple projects.
- Background or interest in communications, people development, or organizational psychology.
- Formal change management training or certification (e.g. PROSCI, ADKAR) are a plus.
