Job Title: Senior Management Accountant

In this role you will…

Support the Financial Controller in ensuring that the assets and liabilities of the company are properly recorded and appropriately controlled.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Review monthly Sales, COS, margin for JAC travel business to prevent any omissions, duplications & errors. Present final numbers for review with FC.
  • Prepare monthly PL analysis, review of monthly overhead costs and ensure all costs are in the correct business unit.
  • Overseeing the invoice payment process.
  • Ensuring timely accrual, payment and filling of all local & statutory requirements, including corporate tax.
  • Preparation and submission of National Statistics forms.
  • Handling all VAT filling, accounting and all related processes.
  • Computation, posting and reporting of FX calculations.
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Handling all Intercompany processes including but not limited to reconciliations, posting of recharges, confirmations.
  • Main lead for year-end audit requests and queries.
  • Assist with any other ad hoc requests and project work as required Uphold a strong ethical work ethic, ensuring financial practices align with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

  • Degree educated.
  • Working towards professional accounting qualification (preferable).
  • Strong numeracy.
  • Work responsibly and take ownership of tasks handled.
  • Experience working in an international business and accounting in multiple currencies.
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Good understanding of accounts software (Sun systems and SAP/S4 Hana).
  • Timely and accurate completion of regularly scheduled tasks and responsibilities.
