Last week our Nordics team hosted the first ever Nordics Awards Event to recognise the outstanding efforts of Danish travel industry professionals over the course of 2018.
Held at the Gemyse restaurant in the heart of Tivoli in Copenhagen, nearly 40 WebBeds clients from across Denmark (and nearby Malmo) attended the event to enjoy some of the hospitality WebBeds is fast becoming renowned for.
The highlight of the evening was the inaugural ‘WebBeds Awards’ which recognized the contribution of travel businesses based in Denmark during the year. The five winners on the night were:
- Newcomer of the Year: My Cruise
- Top Supporting Online Agency: Signatours
- Top Supporting Leisure Agency: FDM Travel
- Top Supporting Corporate Agency: Greenland Travel
- Top Supporting Travel Group: Kilroy
Commenting on the evening, Claus Bille, Country Manager for Denmark said, “It was a fantastic opportunity to formally recognise, and say thank you, for the great work many of our customers are doing in such a competitive environment.”
Philippa Chesler, Regional Director of Sales – Nordics & Baltics, remarked, “Our sales team in the region has the collective experience of more than 125 years in the travel industry which is the very least our customers deserve!
